A forward-thinking healthcare organisation with a strong presence in Carlisle and West Cumbria is seeking an experienced Interim Patient Support Officer to support their Customer service team during a critical period of growth and transformation.

Your new role
1. Contact patients, carers and/or theplainant directly in the first instance to ensure patient safety and provide support with theplaints management process to help resolve their concerns.
2. Promote patient safety by ensuring everyplaint and concern is logged and reviewed for clinical issues with any potential safety issues are raised in a timely manager to the Practice Teams and Clinical Quality Manager.
3. Write response letters which are accurate, person-centred and include useful contextual information about the organisation’s approach to patient centred care.
What you'll need to succeed
4. The ability to work confidentially with sensitivity and empathy.
5. You must be a confidentmunicator to navigateplex queries.
6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
