£400 per day
We're supporting a key infrastructure project in Melksham and are looking for an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical installation works on a National Grid site.
This is a hands-on supervisory role working within a live utilities environment, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring delivery against programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise mechanical and electrical installation activities on site
* Coordinate subcontractors and daily site operations
* Deliver toolbox talks and support RAMS implementation
* Ensure compliance with National Grid safety procedures and site rules
* Monitor progress against programme and report to site management
* Maintain high standards of quality, safety and documentation
Essential Requirements
* NG Person accreditation (required)
* Manual Handling certification (required)
* Previous experience supervising M&E works on infrastructure or utility projects
* SSSTS or SMSTS
* CSCS / ECS Supervisor card
* Full PPE ready for site mobilisation
Desirable
* Experience working on substations or National Grid environments
* BESC / Substation entry awareness
* First Aid at Work
This role would suit an experienced M&E Supervisor who is already cleared for National Grid access and able to mobilise quickly.
