Our client, a Greater Manchester council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their LD Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Carry out person-centred assessments to identify needs and plan support.
* Take on safeguarding responsibilities to protect vulnerable individuals.
* Work closely with other professionals to ensure joined-up support.
* Apply knowledge of key legal frameworks including:
* Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
* Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
* Court of Protection (CoP)
* Complete paperwork for DoLS, CoP, and court statements.
* Work independently, managing your own caseload.
* Undertake MCA assessments across a range of situations.
* Be ready to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
