New Chapter Tuition is recruiting dedicated and experienced Outreach Tutors / SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 personalised education and outreach support for children and young people aged 5–25 across Bromley and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for teachers, tutors, HLTAs, teaching assistants, mentors, and education professionals experienced in supporting learners with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, EBSA, and complex additional needs.
You will deliver flexible, nurture-led tuition and re-engagement support in homes, libraries, community settings, and alternative provisions.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition and outreach programmes
• Support learners with SEN / SEND, EBSA, SEMH, Autism, and ADHD
• Re-engage students who may be out of education or struggling in school settings
• Adapt lessons to EHCP outcomes and individual learning plans
• Use trauma-informed, therapeutic, and nurture-led approaches
• Build trusted relationships to improve attendance, confidence, and wellbeing
• Track progress and complete detailed session reports
• Liaise with families, schools, and external professionals
Candidate Requirements
• Previous SEN / SEND or outreach experience essential
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Experience as a teacher, tutor, TA, HLTA, mentor, youth worker, or outreach practitioner preferred
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Calm, patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
