Engineering Delivery Manager
Base location: Cheadle / Templecombe, UK. Hybrid approach – 3 days per week onsite with up to 15% travel within the UK and occasional client meetings.

Responsibilities
* Deliver on a sonar programme, responsible for cost, schedule and customer fulfilment.
* Provide principle engineering delivery leadership, direction, decision authority and support to the programme or bid.
* Manage the engineering team on project or bid to achieve company objectives for programme schedule, financial and quality targets.
* Ensure the correct application of engineering processes, legislation, regulatory and international standards.
* Implement engineering strategy and direction and may have direct line management of staff on the project.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience of systems engineering, ideally within the defence sector.
* Previous experience leading or working in a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong analytical skills supporting logical, effective and timely decision‑making.
* High appreciation of safety and safety assurance within the engineering discipline.
* Desirable: prior managerial role in defence, submarines or sonar equipment.
