Bridgwater College Academy is looking for a warm, organised and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our school. You’ll be the first point of contact for students, parents, staff and visitors, helping us live our core belief that students come first and that we work best as team players.
Location: Bridgwater College Academy
Salary: Band 3, points 3 to 4, starting at point 3.
Actual starting salary: £21,140.82 per annum
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days)
What You’ll Do
* Welcome visitors and manage phone enquiries with professionalism
* Oversee sign‑in procedures and support safeguarding
* Keep reception clean, safe and up‑to‑date
* Handle deliveries, post and general admin
* Update student records in SIMS and support colleagues across the Academy
What We’re Looking For
* Friendly, calm and confident communicator
* Strong organisational and IT skills
* Experience in an office or customer‑facing role
* 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) or equivalent
* Someone who acts with initiative and professionalism
