We are proud to be rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted and have been honored with the NMT Community Nursery of the Year Award. Our beautiful converted house provides a warm, home-like environment at the heart of our community, accommodating up to 37 children across three welcoming rooms.
At our nursery, children's emotional well-being is our top priority, as highlighted by Ofsted. We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we require flexibility in working varied shift patterns within these hours.

Room Leader Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources tailored to children's age and development.
* Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
* Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with the highest quality.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
Room Leader Requirements and Skills
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification (essential).
* Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years (essential).
* Over 6 months of experience in a senior position (desirable).
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating (desirable).
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (essential).
* Fluency in written and spoken English (essential).
