There will be a mixture of telephone, video and face‑to‑face appointments.

Adhere to the practice prescribing formulary.

There is a pro‑rated share of paperwork, correspondence and test results associated with patient care.

Contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and work colleagues.

About us

We have an established team of 7 GPs, 1 ANP, 2 Nurse Prescribers, 1 Practice Nurse, 2 HCAs, 1 Pharmacist and we work in collaboration with the PCN. As part of the ARRS roles we have 2 Physician Assistants, 3 pharmacists, 1 Primary Care mental health nurse and 1 Social Prescriber. We are a training practice and currently have 2 GP registrars. Our patient base of 10,500 patients is based across two sites in Wednesbury, both buildings being purpose‑built. The Village Medical Centre, our main practice site, was recently extended in 2019. We have an excellent working environment with supportive GPs and nurses and the surgery is well managed with a Business Manager and Practice Manager. Prescription burden is minimal thanks to our Medicine Management team and we work collaboratively with an on‑site pharmacy. We have an excellent administration and data team to keep GP workflow prioritised. We use System One and Accurx. We meet weekly for clinical meetings and learning opportunities. We have ample on‑site parking. Our home‑visit request is low. We work well within our PCN (Health Vision Partnership) and you will be expected to contribute to extended hours on a rota basis.
