My client is an Independent Financial Advisory firm, specialising in advising both businesses and individuals on aspects of Financial Planning, including Investments, Pensions, Retirement Planning, and Mortgages. On the corporate side, they offer Employee Benefits, Pensions, Corporate Protection, and Finance.
The company is currently undergoing a restructure to implement an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) later in 2023, which will transfer ownership of the company to the employees.
As a result, there is a need to employ a Financial Adviser who will gradually take over approximately (Apply online only) clients from the principal fee earner over the next year. Most clients come from Group Pension Schemes, so strong Pensions and Investments knowledge, including income drawdown strategies, is required.
We are seeking a qualified (Full Certificate in Financial Planning / Diploma Qualified FPC, CII Diploma, etc.) Financial Adviser with about 2-5 years of experience in an Independent Financial Advice role. The starting salary is approximately £40,000, with benefits including a pension (after 3 months), 4x DIS (after 6 months), PMI (after 6 months), a 20% New Business Bonus (with no threshold), and £45/month travel expenses. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
The successful applicant will become a beneficiary of the Trust and have the opportunity to benefit from potential profit sharing and any future sale of the business.
