This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated and talented person to join our team in the Hampshire Futures service, supporting the delivery of careers guidance services. A significant part of this role will involve providing 1-1 careers advice and guidance to students within a range of different education settings. Hampshire Futures is part of the Participation & Lifelong Learning service, within Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Services Directorate. What you’ll do: This key position holds the responsibility for providing high-quality, impartial careers information, advice, and guidance (CIAG) to support young people, including those of statutory school age, post 16 age, NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), or who have SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), in making informed decisions about their future education, training, and employment pathways. You will also work as part of a team to ensure the Service meets its obligations to complete its statutory NEET and September Guarantee data returns. What we’re looking for: You will have extensive experience of working with and supporting young people including those with SEN/ SEND, provide impartial, personalised advice and guidance tailored to individual needs, helping them to explore opportunities, understand pathways, and overcome barriers.
