Our client, a leading organisation within the insurance sector, is seeking a commercially aware and analytically minded Business Performance Analyst to support a growing UK Motor Alternative Distribution and Insurtech portfolio.

Working closely with underwriting and pricing teams, you will play a key role in influencing underwriting strategy, pricing decisions, and portfolio performance through data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities
* Analyse scheme and portfolio performance data to identify trends in risk mix, conversion, and overall portfolio performance.
* Produce accurate and insightful reporting using Excel and Power BI.
* Identify issues, opportunities, and emerging trends to support underwriting and pricing decisions.
* Collaborate closely with underwriting and pricing teams to interpret and communicate performance insights.
* Present data-driven recommendations and findings to senior stakeholders.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance portfolio reporting, analytics, and insight-sharing processes.
* Contribute to strategic decision-making through evidence-based analysis.
Requirements
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Experience analysing business, portfolio, or performance data.
* Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using Power BI.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
* Experience within insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment.
* Knowledge of UK Motor insurance, delegated authority schemes, or Insurtech.
* Experience supporting underwriting or pricing functions.
