Your Role
As a Vehicle Technician in our Liphook team, you will:
* Comprehensive Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles.
* Advanced Diagnostics: Use modern fault-finding tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
* System Repairs: Carry out high-quality work on brakes, clutches, gearboxes, suspension, tyres, and exhausts.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate digital and paper service records and detailed job cards.
* Quality Control: Ensure all work meets strict safety, manufacturer, and workshop quality standards.
* Team Support: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a clean, organized workspace.
What You Need
* Experience: Proven track record as a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (preferred); Level 2 with strong experience will be considered.
* Technical Skill: Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills across a variety of vehicle makes and models.
* Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
* Tools: Your own tools are preferred.
* Attributes: A reliable, motivated, and detail-focused professional who works well independently or as part of a team.
