As a Sales Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our retail operation. This role involves more than just working behind the till or filling shelves; we're seeking someone who can deliver a first-class customer service experience. It's a fun, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and teamwork is essential. In charity retail, your daily tasks may include working on the till, sorting donations, and other responsibilities such as:

* Organising and merchandising donated stock creatively to maximise sales potential
* Collaborating with our E-Commerce team to boost online sales
* As a Keyholder, being the go-to person when a manager isn't on duty, ensuring the store runs smoothly and customers have a great experience. Applicants must be 18+ years old.
Note that this role can be physically demanding, involving lifting large furniture. You will have autonomy in your role and opportunities to expand your knowledge of BHF.
* Previous retail experience isn't necessary; passion, energy, and excellent customer service are what matter most
* You should be confident working within a team and capable of guiding volunteers on the shop floor
* Ability to work well under pressure and independently in a dynamic environment
* Attention to detail in all tasks
* A positive, creative, confident, customer-focused attitude, passionate about sustainability
* Comfortable with technology, including using a till, PC, smartphone, and email
