Responsibilities
* Provide support to enable a positive and upbeat environment.
* Help maintain structured routines and transitions between activities.
* Ensure safety and well‑being within the community throughout the day.
* Assist with daily personal needs, including health, medication reminders, and social engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Car driver with a valid driving licence.
* Suitable DBS check (cost covered by employer) and ability to work with children if required.
* Availability to provide two satisfactory references upon request.
* Good communication skill and a caring, patient, trustworthy, reliable, punctual attitude.
* Experience in supporting individuals with mental health issues or learning disabilities preferred.
* Approval of UK work eligibility and valid National Insurance number.
Hours and Schedule
10 hours per week – 5 hours on Tuesday and 5 hours on Thursday.
Benefits and Working Conditions
* Wages paid on a 4‑weekly or monthly basis upon providing a valid NI number.
* Statutory entitlements including annual leave.
* Personal Assistants Handbook provided upon commencement.
* Mandatory training identified as relevant to the post; costs covered by employer.
* Subject to a 1‑month trial period and a probationary period up to 6 months.
