Job description
Our client, a leading organisation in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their facility at London City Airport. This permanent, full-time position involves working with a dynamic team in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine servicing and defect rectification on the Embraer E190 fleet
2. Conduct scheduled and reactive maintenance in a high-frequency operational setting
3. Participate in AOG recovery and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
4. Maintain high levels of safety, quality, and performance
5. Utilise modern technology and practices to meet operational challenges
6. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
Job Requirements:
7. UK CAA Part 66 B1.1 Licence with at least one type rating
8. Ability to obtain an airport restricted pass and an airside driving permit
9. Experience in both scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
10. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
11. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
12. Embraer 190 type rating is desirable, though type training will be provided
13. Flexible approach to work in a fast-paced environment
