An exciting opportunity to be part of a national enforcement agency has arisen within Birmingham City Council's Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT).
Job Description and Person Specification
What You’ll Do
* Carry out complex criminal investigations and enforce delegated legislation.
* Have ownership of an individual caseload and work alongside other investigators to conduct enforcement actions.
About You
* Full driving licence.
* Experience conducting complex investigations in specialist areas of criminal investigations.
* Interviewing suspects in accordance with PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984).
* Dealing with the public face to face.
* Knowledge of intelligence‑based systems.
* Writing statements and reports to a high standard.
* Operating for periods of time with minimal supervision.
* Excellent communication skills building positive relationships with colleagues and partner agencies.
