Teaching Assistant – Penrith
Humly is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a temporary basis.
This is a full-time role starting 13 April 2026 and continuing until 22 May 2026. The role would suit a supportive and reliable classroom practitioner who enjoys working with Key Stage 2 pupils and contributing to a positive learning environment. You will mainly be supporting pupils within mainstream classrooms and assisting the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities.

Supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 within mainstream classroom settings

Assisting the class teacher with delivering learning activities and lesson preparation

Providing small-group and individual support to help pupils stay engaged with their learning

Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a supportive classroom environment

Helping pupils build confidence and independence in their schoolwork

Pay
£14.26 per hour
