This new role provides a unique and exciting career opportunity for the successful candidate to lead a transformational efficiency and effectiveness programme for the Finance function over a multi-year horizon. The successful candidate will be operating at the heart of a global and diverse multinational organisation. Working with senior leadership across finance and the regional businesses, you will be instrumental in TwiningsOvo realising its finance efficiency and transformation agenda. You will be responsible for setting and delivering a compelling vision for a 5 year roadmap of Finance Efficiency programmes across the business.

The second aspect of this role is leading the established Business Performance and Group Financial planning function and helping to deliver increase strategic support, business insight and modern reporting.
The Director of Business Performance and Financial Excellence is a critical role that will direct the understanding of Group Business Performance and execute financial strategy to generate profitable and sustainable growth. You will direct the transformation of Finance capabilities, process and systems resulting in more productive and efficient financial processes and more effective and impactful finance business partnering and data-driven insights.
This role will shape and lead the Finance Centre of Excellence for the Group and manage core financial, planning and analysis processes and the Finance Centre of Excellence for the Group. The ideal candidate will have a substantial background in finance, strategy, transformation and change management, combined with impactful leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy, Performance Management & Business Partnering
* Develop and execute strategies to improve business performance and align financial transformation initiatives with organisational goals.
* Lead the group financial and strategic planning processes (Budgeting, Reforecasting, 3Y and 5Y plans)
* Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance our short, medium, and longer-term business plans to improve the financial outcomes and our ability to forecast them.
* Create and deliver performance reports to the executive teams, monitor business and financial performance, providing clear insights and recommendations for decision-making.
* Direct initiatives to analyse business performance trends, identify inefficiencies and opportunities, and recommend actionable improvements.
* Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO, CEO, and executive team, including M&A projects.
Financial Excellence & Transformation
* Setting a compelling vision, developing the strategic 5 year roadmap for the Finance Excellence and transformation and leading programmes across TwiningsOvo
* Oversee the newly established “Hub,” which serves as a centre of excellence for Finance. Specifically focus on leveraging the new Global SAP finance processes and other technologies to identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement resulting in a best-in-class efficiency and quality.
* Implement continuous improvement in financial systems, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities.
* Identify and direct finance capability improvement initiatives. Also drive improved financial acumen across functions and geographies. Focus around Return on Investment
* Measure and report on the finance function performance and the progress of finance efficiency plans in delivering productivity savings through agreed measures and use of appropriate scorecards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* A significant number of years’ experience in finance, business performance management, or financial transformation, with proven leadership experience.
* Ability to travel locally and internationally
* Skilled in executing financial transformation initiatives, resulting in measurable business outcomes
* Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), performance management, and strategic planning.
* Thorough understanding of and experience in financial systems and tools, such as ERP software (SAP would be desirable), data analytics platforms, and process automation solutions.
* Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
* Leading teams through transformation, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Effective communication and relationship-building skills that facilitate engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strategic thinker who can balance short-term priorities with long-term objectives.
