Responsibilities
 * Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked
 * Reviews previous medical information and gathers relevant updated health information for the provider
 * Takes vitals, performs blood draws, gives injections, bands wounds, and assists with procedures; coordinates with contracted labs for additional tests
 * Prepares and administers approved medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider
 * Partners with other care team members to develop individual patient plans of care, addressing gaps in care
 * Front desk duties including patient scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, coordinating referrals and other care outside the clinic, check-in, and check-out
 * Records accurate and pertinent data in the medical record according to documentation guidelines
 * Processes test results and provides timely results to patients via e-message, mail, or phone as directed
 * Participates in outreach to drive engagement among eligible patient groups
 * Maintains clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments
About You
 * Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care (may vary based on clinic needs)
 * Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program
 * National or state-specific MA certification or registration (strongly preferred; required where certification/registration is mandated by state)
 * CPR/BLS certification required at start date
 * Phlebotomy experience is preferred
