Overview
Interviews for this role will be conducted face‑to‑face only. This is a part‑time position; working hours will be agreed and the applicant must commit to consistent hours. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, orthotists, prosthetists, counsellors, technical instructors, administrative staff and rehabilitation engineers.
Clinical Responsibilities
* Deliver group rehabilitation sessions and one‑to‑one rehabilitation
* Assist in clinic settings and perform home visits
* Work collaboratively within the team while demonstrating initiative and independence
Non‑Clinical Duties
* Monitor stock and order equipment
* Maintain equipment
* Support audits
* Perform general administrative and IT‑based tasks
Qualifications
* Motivated, proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confident in using IT systems
* Interest in rehabilitation and supporting people with physical disabilities
Location & Hours
Bowley Close Rehabilitation Centre is the home of the Regional Specialist Rehabilitation Service, offering orthotics, amputee rehabilitation (prosthetics), wheelchairs & seating and assistive communication. The centre is led by allied health professionals together with a consultant in rehabilitation medicine and serves individuals of all ages living with long‑term physical disabilities in the community. Located in Crystal Palace, the centre operates Monday to Friday 08:00‑17:00 (excluding bank holidays) and offers convenient on‑site parking and a large garden area.
