Location: Duchess Nursery Abingdon
Hours: 40 hours over 4 or 5 days. Full time or part time hours.
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 - dependant of qualification and experience.
Reports to: Room Leader / Nursery Manager

What's the Role About?
As a Early Years Practitioner, you'll be at the heart of our nursery, creating magical moments every day for the children in your care. You'll work alongside a friendly, enthusiastic team, supporting the development of young minds and ensuring that every child's day is filled with fun, laughter, and learning. From planning exciting activities to watching the children grow and achieve, every day will be an adventure
What You'll Be Doing:
* Helping children explore, learn, and discover through exciting, hands-on activities.
* Working with a fantastic team to provide the highest level of care and early education.
* Supporting the Room Leader and other colleagues to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment.
* Observing and recording children's progress to support their individual learning journeys through Blossom.
* Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider team.
* Promoting the nursery's values of respect, kindness, and creativity, every day.
* Encouraging the development of children's social, emotional, and intellectual skills through play-based learning.
* Keeping the nursery environment vibrant, clean, and safe, ready for the day's adventures
What We're Looking For:
* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) – if you've got it, we want you
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Experience working in a childcare setting – we want you to bring your knowledge and ideas to the table
* A love for creative, hands-on activities that engage and inspire children.
* Great communication skills – whether it's with children, colleagues, or parents, you'll be an expert
* A positive, upbeat attitude, with a desire to make every day fun and meaningful for the children in your care.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
