We are looking for Class 1 Driver to join our team at Gadbrook on a Full time and Permanent position.
Job Description
About the job:
Join our team as a professional HGV Driver, operating modern Scania, Iveco, or Mercedes vehicles. You'll be responsible for delivering a variety of trailer types, supporting major supermarket operations across a range of daily routes.
This role involves no loading or unloading—your focus is purely on safe, reliable driving. You'll complete a mix of store deliveries and RDC (Regional Distribution Centre) runs, offering variety in your day-to-day work.
Shift Patterns:
* Wednesday-Sunday.
* Tuesday-Saturday.
* Sunday-Thursday.
Start windows:
* 11:00am-14:00pm.
* 23:30pm-01:30am.
Salary:
Up to £46,520.80 per annum based on an average hour worked of 54 per week. Our roles are hourly paid as below.
* Monday-Friday Days - £14.50 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
* Monday-Friday Nights - £15.80 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
* Saturday and Sunday Days - £17.50 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments).
* Saturday and Sunday Nights - £18.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments).
* Bank Holidays - £18.31 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments).
Qualifications
* Experience will be preferable.
* A positive attitude and commitment to safety.
* A Full C+E, CPC and Tacho Card.
* No more than 6 points.
* Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
