The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing Hiab and third part equipment, whilst providing a good level of customer service, through product knowledge and customer interaction.
This is a remote position for UK.
Main tasks and responsibilities
* Undertakes servicing of Hiab or third party equipment at our customer sites
* Complete all service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs allocated daily, to a high quality standard
* Build strong rapport and relationships with customers, through professional behavior and customer focused mindset
* Respond to routine enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services
* Completing all job related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner to ensure correct invoicing to the customer
* Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
* Develop skills and knowledge of the organization's products and service
* Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions and in compliance with the company's safety rules / proceduresand with regulations and codes of practice
* Support the company’s efforts to reduce accidents / incidents by reporting unsafe actions or conditions and participating in Safety Walks, Safety Audits and 5S events etc. as required.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education:
* Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications
Working experience:
* Experienced multi-skilled engineer
* Experience in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical operations
Competence and skills:
* Excellent customer focused approach
* Quality orientated
* Flexibility and adaptability
* Self-starter, enthusiasm and drive
* Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships.
