Technical Lead (Software Engineering)

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead software delivery across Agile teams supporting national security clients
• Design and develop secure, high-quality applications across the full SDLC
• Own engineering strategy, tooling, and coding standards
• Define best practices and mentor junior to mid-level developers
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and ensure high code quality (e.g. via SonarQube, Git)
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps and product stakeholders to align vision
• Participate in client engagements and promote continuous technical improvement
Skills & Experience:
• Proficient in Java, .NET, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experienced with Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
• Strong in source control (Git), CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Background in cloud-native development (AWS preferred), containers (Docker/K8s)
• Skilled in automated testing frameworks and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform)
• Ability to plan, lead and deliver end-to-end projects
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Desirable: experience in secure environments or government/defence sector
