Personal Advisor (Burnley & Lancaster)

We are recruiting for a Personal Advisor, based in the Children Leaving Care Service. Two full‑time Personal Advisor roles are available at Burnley & Lancaster (fixed term – 10 months).

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Leaving Care Service to develop, deliver and continuously improve services for children, young people and their families and carers in Lancashire.
• Partner with colleagues within Children's Social Care to ensure consistency of practice across the county and to promote a supportive, collaborative culture across the service.
• Collaborate with children and young people, parents and carers, education, health and other agencies/professionals to provide effective support that improves outcomes for children, young people and their families.
• Ensure young people leaving care are at the centre of all practice and processes.
• Provide the right support at the right time for children and young people.
• Use available resources efficiently to support the well‑being and development of children and young people leaving care.
