The Best Connection are currently seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client in Uckfield. This role involves the delivery of furniture items to residential and commercial customers, requiring care, attention to detail, and a professional approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly.
* Delivering furniture items to customer locations.
* Strapping and securing loads correctly to ensure safe transit.
* Completing paperwork and maintaining accurate delivery records.
* Providing excellent customer service upon delivery.
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods (some heavy lifting involved).
Requirements:
* A valid 7.5T (Category C1) licence.
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* Previous experience in furniture delivery or similar preferred.
* Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
