GAP Group Apprenticeship Program
GAP Group Apprentices are crucial in ensuring our Depots have the right expertise now and in the future.
As an Apprentice, you will be enrolled in a blended learning program where you will earn an NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance through on-the-job experience and block release training at a leading college.
The Apprenticeship Program covers essential skills to become a Plant Mechanic, including servicing and repairing machines, replacing parts, and calibrating instruments. You will also learn engineering basics and advanced topics like electro-hydraulics and computerized control systems.
Our program allows you to earn while you learn:
* Apprentices under 18 will work a maximum of 39 hours per week with a starting salary of £14,700 per annum.
* Apprentices over 18 will work a maximum of hours per week with a starting salary of £16,000 per annum.
After Year 1, your salary will increase to the National Minimum Wage rate for your age, and will continue to grow each year of your apprenticeship.
About You
To apply, you should demonstrate:
* 4 GCSEs at grade C or above
* A keen interest in Plant Technology
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication skills
