Job Description
3. Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
5. Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
6. Review and improve financial controls, systems, and procedures.
7. Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.
8. Supervise and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
9. Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
10. Provide strategic insights to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance profitability.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
12. Substantial experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
13. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
14. Proficiency in financial software and systems.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
