Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers a full‑time/part‑time hybrid arrangement based in the Manchester area, United Kingdom, with the opportunity for remote work flexibility.
* Provide bespoke Inheritance Tax advice, managing relevant trusts.
* Offer property tax planning services.
* Manage a diverse portfolio, including non-domiciled individuals, high-net-worth clients, partnerships, and offshore trusts.
* Assist with advisory projects such as IHT planning, pre‑arrival advice and offshore structures.
* Prepare for and attend client meetings, set budgets, and ensure timely delivery of work.
* Liaise with clients on tax matters, including IHT, income tax and capital gains tax.
* Handle HMRC enquiries and disclosures.
* Review personal and trust tax returns, ensuring HMRC deadlines are met.
You will be allocated an impressive client portfolio, including HNWIs, directors, partnerships, trusts, and estates, involving a mixture of tax planning, compliance, advisory work, and ad‑hoc projects.
Qualifications
* CTA/ATT/TEP with an experienced role in advisory for private and Inheritance tax.
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently.
Compensation and Benefits
From a salary perspective, you will be looking at between £40,000 – 70,000, depending on knowledge and experience level. Additional benefits include a generous holiday allowance and hybrid working arrangements.
