Job Opportunity: Chef de Partie at the University of York

You will work in a busy production kitchen, helping to maintain high standards of catering, hygiene, and health & safety. This role offers a fantastic work-life balance and the chance to enhance your skills, learning from our skilled Head Chefs with Fine Dining and Michelin Star experience. You will have opportunities to work across multiple sites.
Key requirements:
* City & Guilds 706/1/2 (or NVQ Level 2 equivalent) and an intermediate food hygiene qualification
* Experience with fresh food and high-volume catering
* Driven and eager to learn
* Adaptable and able to think on your feet
The salary is £26,250.88 per annum, based on a 37-hour week on a 5 over 7 basis. Shifts include morning, mid, and evening shifts (no split shifts). Occasional weekend work and flexibility are required to meet business demands. Additional hours may be needed, with time off or pay provided for overtime.
