A growing UK insurance broker is seeking experienced Commercial Account Handlers and Commercial Account Executives to join their dynamic commercial team. This is a client-facing role managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and commercial clients across a range of insurance products, including commercial combined, property, motor, and specialty lines.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, including renewals, endorsements, and new business opportunities
* Build strong relationships with brokers, clients, and insurers
* Prepare and present risk assessments and quotations to clients
* Support business development and cross-selling initiatives
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
* Mentor junior team members (for senior roles) and contribute to team best practices
Requirements
* Proven experience in commercial insurance broking or account handling
* Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality service
* Professional qualifications (Cert CII) desirable but not essential
