Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated childcare practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
Duties
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 0 to 3 years.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children feel valued and encouraged to explore.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
* Manage activities, ensuring that all children are actively participating and learning.
* Lead activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth through play-based learning.
* Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience within the preschool setting.
Experience
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and staff.
* A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education is crucial.
* Ability to drive may be beneficial for attending off-site activities or training sessions.
