Job Details:
1. Pay: £16.27 per hour (£1 per hour shift allowance included)
2. Hours of Work: Rotating shifts – Shift 1: Mon–Thur 6am–3pm, Fri 6am–11am / Shift 2: Mon–Thur 3pm–12am, Fri 11am–4pm
3. Duration: Temp to Perm
Job Role: As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for completing MIG welding on 3–8mm steel components to a high standard using engineering drawings and jig arrangements. The role of MIG Welder involves working in a busy manufacturing environment, carrying out basic fabrication tasks, maintaining quality control across production, adhering to Health & Safety procedures, and working both independently and as part of a team while meeting tight deadlines.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
4. Proven experience working as a MIG Welder
5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
6. Experience using electrical and manual tools such as saws, squares, and calipers
7. Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and correct use of PPE
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
8. NVQ in Welding
