In this Primary School Kitchen, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork including electronic returns are completed and submitted according.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround.

1. East Wemyss Primary School, 27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 5.5 hours per day as required between 8:30am and 2:30pm as required on a 52-week contract.
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,890.91 to £27,087.17 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff are provided with meals throughout the school day during term time as required - Primary Schools mainly provide Breakfast and Lunch.
Training on In House systems will be provided for this post. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post.
