Health and Safety Officer
£40,000 - £55,000 + Monday - Friday + Company Benefits
St Ives - Commutable from Cambridge, Peterborough, Newmarket, Littleport, Huntingdon, Bedford, Northampton, Kettering, Bury St Edmunds or surrounding areas.

This company has been established for over 40 years and is looking for an experienced Health and Safety officer to come in and audit the company's workshops and factories.
Your role will be to conduct health and safety audits at the client's factory, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices. You will also train and deliver safety inductions for new employees and contractors. The role will suit a health and safety officer looking for full autonomy, further progression, and the opportunity to implement your own changes within the business.
The Role
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and risks, implementing corrective actions as needed
* Organise and track ongoing H&S training, including manual handling, PPE use, machine safety, and emergency response
* Work closely with production, maintenance, and HR teams to ensure safety is prioritised in daily operations
The Person
* Must be commutable to St Ives
* Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent)
* Experience in a H&S role within a manufacturing or production environment
