Morson are currently recruiting on behalf of a global leader in shipbuilding, defence, and offshore wind, is seeking a driven Procurement Officer to join its growing supply chain team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity, offering the chance to secure a long-term position within a dynamic and high-profile organisation.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing RFQs, tenders, and supplier negotiations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive value, maintain strong relationships, and support contract management across complex procurement activities.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing tenders, RFQs, and supplier evaluations
* Negotiating contracts and delivering cost savings
* Ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery
* Supporting contract administration and risk management
* Building strong supplier relationships and improving processes
What we're looking for:
1. Proven procurement and contract management experience
2. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
3. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle)
