Are you an experienced Electrical Site Manager with a background in GIS Switchgear assembly and Protection & Control (P&C) panel installation? We are looking for a driven and hands-on leader to join our clients team on a high-profile energy infrastructure project in Aberdeen.
This role is a 6 month contract position. Ltd Company will be considered on a case by case basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the assembly and installation of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) on site.
Supervise the installation and commissioning of Protection & Control panels, ensuring compliance with project specs and standards.
Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives to deliver work on time and within scope.
Ensure strict adherence to health & safety protocols and industry regulations.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and documentation of progress.
Lead toolbox talks and daily briefings with electrical teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience in GIS switchgear assembly (Siemens, ABB, GE, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge and practical experience in Protection & Control systems.
Previous experience in an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor role.
SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent safety certification.
Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong leadership and communication skills
