An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Ipswich, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers. This nursing home specialises in general and dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties
* Alongside the Home Manager, manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
* Ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support, experiencing life opportunities, and promoting growth and independence.
* Be a flexible person; may not always be in the office but expected to cover the floor or work alongside the nurses.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
* The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care.
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
* Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programmes within the home.
Salary and Benefits
* Competitive salary of GBP 52,500 per annum.
* Permanent full‑time role – 40 hours a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
