About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our busy kitchen, based at our brad new, state of the art factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional catering experiences to all Wren Employees. The position is Monday to Friday, 05:30 - 14:00. The salary for the position is £29,500 plus Quarterly Bonus up to £250.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serving and handling of food in the canteen
2. Manage inventory and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and available to use
3. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and maintaining the safety standards
4. Foster a positive and professional environment, working seamlessly with co-workers and customers
5. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
6. Keep the workstation tidy, including clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness
About You
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
7. Catering to a large volume at a high standard
8. Experience cooking with fresh produce is essential
9. Good cooking and communication skills
10. Strong interest and knowledge of food
11. Customer service experience
12. Ability to cover other members of staff due to holidays, sickness etc.
