Who will I support?
Supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities means embracing their unique journey. Every day brings new opportunities and our role is to empower and connect, helping them navigate life with confidence and independence.
You will be supporting 2 people who share a house and who are looking for someone to join their team with lots of get up and go, who will support them to do the things they like to do which include swimming, listening to music, going to the cinema and lots of other fun activities.
This is a part time post for 3 late shifts a week across Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.

As a support worker you’ll be there to lend a helping hand in a way that puts the person’s needs first, this means:
* You will adapt your support to fit what each person needs and wants daily.
* You will encourage people to make their own choices, big and small.
* You will help people to do things themselves to be as independent as possible.
* You will support people to build confidence and life skills.
* You will support people to be a part of their community, joining local clubs and connecting with friends and family.
* You will be understanding, allowing people to take their time and do things at their own pace.
