The Account Executive reports directly to the Director/Manager. The main purpose of an Account Executive here at NFP is to acquire new commercial customers, whilst retaining existing customers by providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* To develop and maintain the relationship with existing customers and to target new customers from the market place by the effective marketing of current prospects
* Establish and manage with each customer a renewal strategy in accordance with the companies procedures/aims to maximise renewal success
* Responsibility to ensure that customers are correctly and adequately insured for all of their insurance exposures and that correct advice is given
* To liaise with Account and Claims Handlers to complete all supporting documentation to maintain and achieve customer service standards
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
* High level inter personal skills – Ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships
* Planning, organisational and time management skills
* Experience in dealing with commercial business insurances programs
* Knowledge of commercial products and insurance market
* Proven track record of retention and intergrated sales
* Passion for customer services and professionalism
* Proactive and able to prioritise and effectively manage own workload
* Driving licence
Education and/or Experience:
* At least 5 years commercial insurance experience
* Proven track record of retaining and organically growing a book of business
