As a Disability Assessor you will work autonomously to assess claimants applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) as part of the DWP Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). Assessments may be conducted remotely and cover a broad range of health conditions.
An in-depth training programme is provided and fully paid for, helping you feel fully equipped for your new role. This role also counts towards clinical hours to support your registration.

Responsibilities
* Use clinical experience to understand how health conditions affect daily living and independence.
* Conduct assessments in office, home, or remotely via telephone, video, or face-to-face interactions.
* Interpret medical evidence and compile findings into a comprehensive report to support DWP decision-making.
Qualifications
* Only applications from Paramedics will be considered for this vacancy.
* HCPC registration is required.
* Minimum of 1 year broad post-registration experience; UK experience is essential.
* Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and strong IT competency.

Additional Information
Location: Keighley, Stockport, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Wigan and other locations; positions may be hybrid with remote elements.
Salary: £37,800 per year (examples shown are for illustration and may vary by location); Permanent, full-time (Mon-Fri).
