Are you a skilled CAD Designer with experience within a manufacturing or construction industry? We are working with a well-established and reputable manufacturing business in Newcastle-under-Lyme that’s known for delivering high-quality, bespoke solutions across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, innovative, and friendly team. Daily duties will include…
1. Produce 3D CAD drawings for both standard and custom products
2. Work closely with engineering, production, and project teams to create cost-effective, practical designs
3. Turn customer orders and specifications into accurate design files
4. Create 3D models, technical drawings, and all supporting documents for production launch
5. Keep design files organised and up to date within the data management system
6. Read and interpret technical briefs, customer requirements, and manufacturing/construction drawings
7. Update and modify existing designs to meet changing customer needs
8. Ensure all design work complies with industry standards and company quality procedures
