Clinical Negligence Paralegal
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to circa £26,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week (flexible working considered)

TSR Legal are working with a leading law firm who have an excellent reputation in clinical negligence and personal injury. Their team is nationally recognised for providing outstanding legal support to clients who have suffered serious injury due to medical errors, combining legal excellence with a compassionate, client-first approach.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join their Bristol-based team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day work on clinical negligence files under supervision.
* Assist senior fee earners with substantial and complex cases.
* Support new enquiries and risk assessments.
* Attend hearings, conferences, and client meetings as required.
* Draft legal documents, correspondence, instructions to Counsel, and witness statements.
* Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, and courts in a professional and timely manner.
* Maintain accurate and well-organised digital case records.
* Monitor case deadlines and timetables.
* Conduct legal research and summarise findings.
* Contribute to the team's online presence by preparing articles and sharing posts.
Departmental Duties
* Provide flexibility and support during team absences.
* Collaborate effectively to deliver excellent client service.
* Work towards agreed billing and performance targets.

* Ensure all work meets professional, regulatory, and risk management standards.

Person Specification
Legal Status:
* Right to live and work in the UK.
* DBS disclosure required prior to appointment.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Substantial paralegal experience within clinical negligence is essential.
Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong knowledge of clinical negligence litigation processes.
* Experience supporting fee earners with complex cases.
* Ability to review and analyse medical records.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Proficient with case management systems and MS Office.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
* Flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented.
