Job Description Account Manager (12-Month Contract) Location: Aldershot, Hampshire (onsite with some remote flexibility) Contract: Starting December - 12-month fixed-term contract Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience) Hours: 40 per week (Mon – Thurs 07:00–15:45, Fri 06:00–13:00) About the Role Talented People are recruiting for an Account Manager on a 12-month contract to support a leading precision engineering company in Hampshire. This role is focused on managing key customer accounts, supporting subcontract suppliers, and identifying opportunities for new business. You’ll work closely with the wider accounts team to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to growth. Key Responsibilities Manage existing customer accounts and support new business opportunities. Actively manage the full sales process from enquiry through to delivery. Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships. Evaluate customer requirements and coordinate internal actions to fulfil them. Prepare and submit product documentation for technical and delivery approval. Act as the first point of contact for customer needs, complaints, and feedback. Conduct regular account reviews with key clients. Analyse and resolve customer complaints in collaboration with senior management. Improve internal contract review processes. Represent the company at trade shows and industry events. Ensure compliance with company health & safety standards. About You Experience within an engineering environment, ideally aerospace or automotive. Strong technical knowledge of the automotive sector. Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels. Goal-oriented with strong organisational skills. Flexible and resilient under time pressure.
