JOB TITLE: Office Cleaner
LOCATION: Jenners, Edinburgh, EH2 2YJ
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
HOURS: 40 hours per week – 06.30am to 3.30pm – Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced Office Cleaner to maintain high standards on our busy offices. You will ensure that offices are thoroughly cleaned and kept neat and tidy. You will be self-motivated, able to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision. A solid understanding of health and safety requirements and previous practical experience in a cleaning role are essential.
Overview of Duties:
· Maintain cleanliness of site offices by vacuuming, mopping, wiping and polishing.
· Ensure litter and waste is removed and disposed of correctly at the designated collection points.
· Clean all sanitary facilities.
· Replenish supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, hand towels, reporting when supplies are running low.
· Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
· Use and care for any cleaning equipment issued in an appropriate and safe manner.
· Report any maintenance or repair issues.
· Complete any necessary paperwork
This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Cleaning Operative and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.
Essential Competencies:
· Previous experience in a similar Cleaning role
· Understanding of health and safety requirements relating to cleaning appliances and products
· Knowledge of an office environment
· Demonstrate an ability to work on own initiative.
· Demonstrate strong communication skills
Desirable Competencies:
· UK Driving Licence
