Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving business based in the heart of Scotland. We're looking for a talented Image Retoucher and Video Editor to become part of our in-house studio team - someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality digital product imagery and compelling video content for use across our digital marketing channels.
You’ll play a key role in our busy ecommerce studio, working to a high standard on both photo retouching and video assets. A background in ecommerce studio work is advantageous, though not essential - we're open to candidates who can demonstrate the right skills and creative eye.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
* Execute Web Imagery: Deliver high-volume, high-quality retouching for use on web.
* Pixel Work & Styling: Use Photoshop to refine garment shapes, remove creases, and adjust fits to show off the unique attributes of our luxury clothing.
* Skin & Beauty Retouching: Perform natural, skin retouching for lifestyle and model shots while maintaining authentic textures.
* Colour Management: Ensure total colour accuracy by matching digital files to physical product swatches, ensuring a "what you see is what you get" experience for the customer.
* Compositing & Shadows: Expertly handle path clipping and the addition or removal of shadows to create depth and consistency across all Product Detail Pages (PDP).
* Collaboration: Work in tandem with the in-house photography, creative, and e-commerce teams to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic.
* Workflow Management: Self-manage daily retouching lists to meet strict digital upload and campaign deadlines.
* Produce a variety of video assets required for web and for digital marketing.
* Produce reports on throughputs.
* Oversee our external partners output.

Person Specification
* Professional experience in high-end digital retouching with a strong portfolio showing "before and after" examples.
* Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is essential. Experience with Lightroom or Bridge is required.
* Proven ability in path clipping, frequency separation, ghost mannequin retouching, and image manipulation.
* Digital Focus: Experience specifically tailored for web/e-commerce workflows.
* Video editing skills for PDP and digital advertising (Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects) are highly desirable.
* Professional Attributes: Polite, friendly, and approachable with a methodical and organized "self-starter" attitude.
* Adaptability: Open to and aware of changing industry standards, including the evolving use of A.I. tools in retouching.
* Team Player: Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a larger, fast-paced creative team.
* A good understanding of Excel.
