Job Description
Working in the family home of a young person you will make a real difference in providing care and support to this family by ensuring the safety and comfort of their child.
The main duties of the role are:
* providing PEG feed support
* personal care
* manual handling
* seizure management
* administering medication
* assisting with bedtime routine
We are looking for a care professional who brings energy, empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships, loves to get creative with play and activities and providing high quality and attentive care.
Our client attends school in the day and requires support after school, they love to sing and play.
The successful candidate will be calm under pressure, emotionally resilient. We need someone kind but firm, who can manage challenging moments with sensitivity and who thrives in a lively, family centred setting.
Qualifications
You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. You’ll receive full nurse led training and ongoing clinical support to develop skills in various areas.
