Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for skilled Highways Engineers to join a dynamic team delivering real improvements across our highway network. You’ll lead on highway maintenance and resurfacing schemes, from reconstruction and inlays to preventative treatments that maximise the lifespan of our roads. You’ll also play a key role in drainage improvements, including sustainable solutions, helping reduce flooding and protect communities. Working closely with inspectors, contractors and local stakeholders, you’ll respond to defects, address community concerns, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Your work directly impacts road safety, reliability, and network resilience.
