Tasks
* Distressed and special situations
* Financial restructurings and takeovers
* Refinancing and debt capital solutions
Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day workstreams on live mandates and marketing projects
* Develop, review and challenge complex financial models and valuation analyses
* Prepare and present client materials (information memoranda, presentations, pitch books)
* Coordinate due diligence and support negotiations with lenders, sponsors and other stakeholders
* Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, sponsors and advisorsMentor and develop junior team members
Requirements
* 4–8+ years of experience in investment banking or a comparable advisory role (restructuring, leverage finance, special situations or related areas)
* Excellent analytical and technical skills; confident in building and reviewing complex Excel-based models
* Strong interest in financial restructuring, special situations and capital structure topics
* Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment
* Team player with high integrity, strong communication skills and an ownership mindset
* Fluent in German and English (both required)
* Strong academic track record in finance, economics, business, or a related field
